This two-part course helps growers plan and produce a successful corn patch, from several rows up to an acre. The spring session in March covers site selection, soil preparation, planting, cultivation, and harvesting, and is held prior to planting. There will be an informal follow-up session scheduled in the fall after the harvest, to focus on results, share experiences, and lessons learned. Participants will gain practical knowledge to grow corn for family, friends, and food banks. ( + Fall date t.b.d.)
