      Beginning Spanish runs for a full year, beginning with the fall term and continuing in the winter/spring term.            Beginning Spanish aims to give the student a solid foundation in the language, with vocabulary useful to a traveler.  The book will be supplemented with materials designed to supply copious oral practice.  For each chapter there will be a packet containing oral and written exercises which the student will need to print.

Required textbook: Learn Spanish the Fast and Fun Way by Gene Hammitt, Publisher:Barron's-any edition from last 30 yrs.
