The Great Outdoors will soon be calling and we want to be ready with some delicious salads that are easy to make and pack in a picnic basket! We’ll start with a new take on an old favorite- chicken salad. Our version includes diced pineapple and lots of delicious seasonings. It’s absolutely scrumptious, especially when spread on a croissant or sandwich roll. As a side dish, we’ll prepare a lovely Shredded Carrot Salad, which includes pecans, fresh apple, raisins, and some really cool flavorings like honey and Dijon mustard. We bet you’ll want to make these again all summer!
In this class, basic cooking and knife techniques will be taught as well as kitchen safety and Mis-en-Place.
Please bring take-home containers for leftovers. Don't forget an apron!
$25 materials fee payable to teacher at class.
