Our focus in this class will be the delicious cuisine of the middle-eastern COUNTRY of Turkey, located between the Black and the Mediterranean Seas! We’ll be making two dishes which are representative of that spicy cuisine: succulent Lamb Meatballs (Kofta Meatballs) in Yogurt Sauce, and the simple yet refreshing Shepherd Salad. Come take a brief culinary journey to another land for a great taste and cooking experience!
In this class, basic cooking and knife techniques will be taught as well as kitchen safety and Mis-en-Place.
Please bring take-home containers for leftovers. Don't forget an apron!
$25 materials fee payable to teacher at class.
