Welcome in the spring with a visit to the New York Botanical Garden for The Orchid Show, held in the famed Enid A. Haupt Conservatory that is modeled after London’s Crystal Palace. Orchids have a magical beauty and come in many different shapes, sizes, textures, scents and gorgeous colors. You will be surrounded by this exotic display of orchids that dazzles the senses! This is also the special time of year when the Magnolias are blossoming in profusion. Jump aboard the tram and ride through the magnolia collection for a wonderful treat! Other highlights include the Perennial & Rock Gardens that will be in bloom, and the Azaleas. Hungry? Be sure to stop by the Garden Café or the new Pine Tree Cafe for a bite to eat (on your own), and don’t miss a visit to the beautiful Museum Shop. Next we will head to Arthur Avenue, with time for shopping at the Italian Markets. or to grab a bite to eat!
