This course will outline the basic items you’ll need to think about and use to protect your computer and secure your network. We will talk about selecting or upgrading equipment,perimeter defense, firewalls, reliable backup of your data, email best practices, and will also provide links to helpful resources. If you are concerned about threats to your personal data, this class will provide useful information to help you understand them, and what you can do about them.
- John Gregory began in IT in 1976 with companies including AT&T, McDonnell Douglas, Aetna, ADVO, and Hartford Hospital. In 2009 John founded Techliner Computer Services in Marlborough, CT with the mission of providing expert IT support for local businesses. Michael Ulloa now runs Techliner Computer.
