Whether you are an atheist, an agnostic, or a religious adherent, there’s much to be gained by exploring the great religions of the world. Expand your cultural horizons by learning about the rapidly changing religious landscape that surrounds us. In this class, you will discover what religion is, why it has been important throughout history, and why it is important today.

The purchase of Garry R. Morgan’s Understanding World Religion in 15 Minutes a Day is suggested but not required.

Eastern Traditions - We will study the religious traditions of the East: Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism, Chinese religions, and Japanese Shinto.

Western Traditions - We will explore the religions of the West: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam
