Learn basic drawing techniques, which will include 2 weeks of colored pencil instruction. We will discuss composition, perspective, gesture drawing, line drawing and shading. We will also cover composition and basic design principles. Also still life and painting from life.

HB drawing pencils 

Set of assorted colored pencils . Caran D’ache or similar good quality.


Kneaded erasers 


Smudge sticks


12 inch metal ruler 


pad of tracing paper


Good quality sketch pad 14 by 17  or can be a bit smaller 


Caslon light colors pastel pad of paper


 





First Class Meeting Location:


Please meet the first class at Heirloom market in old Wethersfield. Comstock Ferre. Main Street old Wethersfield. Upper level, when you enter go to the right up one small set of stairs. You will be in a large room with tables. We will be at the table near the front windows along Main Street .
