Basic cooking and knife techniques will be taught as well as kitchen safety and Mis-en-Place.
There will be sampling in class, but please bring take-home containers for leftovers. Don't forget your apron!
In this class we’ll learn the basic concepts of the vegan diet by preparing 2 wonderful vegan dishes: Pan Fried Mixed Vegetable Nuggets and Vegan Brown Butter Gnocchi with Fresh Herbs. We’ll top things off with a demonstration of how to make a luscious vegan dessert: Raw Cashew and Chocolate Caramel Dip with Fresh Strawberries. Vegans and non-Vegans alike are sure to love these plant-based goodies! Nut allergy alert - cashews will be used in making some of these recipes. $25 materials fee payable to teacher at class
