In this class we’ll be tippin’ our hats to the land of the shamrock with 3 typically Irish foods that owe their history to this magnificent land. First, we’ll put to heating on the stove a delicious Lamb Stew. While that cooks, we’ll put together a delicious pot of Colcannon, otherwise known as buttered mashed potatoes with greens, such as kale or cabbage. To round out our Emerald Isle samplings we’ll take a turn making a version of traditional Irish bread known as Irish Soda Bread. Come to class with an eye towards culinary adventure and be pleasantly surprised.
