Info

Caponata is a Sicilian dish consisting of chopped eggplant and other vegetables, seasoned with olive oil and capers. Students will learn how to make this tasty dish. It is served as an appetizer, a side dish, a main dish, or used to stuff a calzone! A calzone is an Italian oven-baked turnover, typically made from salted bread or pizza dough, baked in an oven and stuffed with….whatever! Students will make calzones from the caponata they made, and there will also be prepared spinach, sausage and ricotta for students to choose from to create another calzone. Come join this delicious class and learn how to make this healthy, fun meal. $20 materials fee payable to teacher
