 This beginner-friendly class, for adults and teens, is designed to introduce you to the charming world of hand embroidery. You’ll learn basic stitches like the running stitch, back stitch and stem stitch as well as more complex stitches like the Palestrina stitch and the Portuguese knotted stem stitch. Class instruction will also include how to choose and use embroidery tools, how to create and transfer simple designs onto your fabric and ideas for finishing your work. Whether you are a budding artist or looking for a relaxing hobby, this is the perfect class for you. You’ll leave with the skills and confidence to create your own beautiful embroidered projects!

 Materials fee: $15 payable to teacher
