This class will give the student a solid foundation in the Spanish language, with vocabulary useful for a traveler. The textbook will be supplemented with materials designed to supply copious oral practice. For each chapter there will be a packet containing oral and written exercises which the student will need to print.

Required textbook: Learn Spanish the Fast and Fun Way by Gene Hammitt, Barron's edition, up to 30 years old ok
