Do you own a digital camera and need help getting more consistent quality images? Come learn all the basics of photography, including aperture-shutter speed-ISO, focusing methods, basic editing techniques, backing-up, and organizing your photos. The often-confusing controls on your camera will also be identified and thoroughly explained, and we’ll discuss/critique the pictures we take to help understand composition and assist with any shooting issues. Pictures will be taken during class to help solidify all that you have learned.
Bring your digital camera (with battery charged) and instruction booklet. Ideally your camera can operate in non-Automatic modes, such as Manual or Shutter Priority – however, if it does not, you can still opt to take the class. Prerequisite: None.
