Beginning German will give the student a solid foundation in the language, with vocabulary useful for a traveler. The text book will be supplemented with materials designed to supply copious oral practice. For each chapter there will be a packet containing oral and written exercises which the student will need to print.

Required textbook: Learn German the Fast and Fun Way by Paul Graves, published by Barron’s. (any edition that is red or reddish is recent)
