This course will explore some of the flavors and textures from The Great British Baking Show on PBS. We'll pick bread recipes (sorry, no cakes or pies) either featured on the show or from their official website. This won't be a competition. Instead, you will learn how to make the recipes correctly the first time. We will help beginners overcome yeast anxiety and teach seasoned bread makers a few new tricks and techniques. This will be a participation type hands-on course, and each student will take home a loaf of bread or batch of goodies fresh-from-the-oven. $12 materials fee payable to instructor.
